Table top Christmas tree made from 3/4 inch and 1/2 inch dowel. Steel rod through each piece and locking nuts on top and in base to hold in place. Base was made from some scrap 2 by 6.

Hi Pam. I don’t have written instructions but I used different size square dowels and each was cut 1/2 inch shorter than the previous one working up the tree. A hole was drilled in the middle and then a threaded metal rod used through them with nuts on both end to tighten into place. A recess was drilled into the base for the lower nut to sit in. Hope that helps!!
