Built in closet to replace builder grade wire racking. Closet measures approximately 11 feet by 5 feet. I made the following individual elements, installed them and then added trim and crown molding.
On the long wall. Two shoe racks with 7 adjustable shelves each. Drawer unit with 6 large drawers and 4 smaller drawers. Two hanger units with open storage areas above them.
On the short wall. A unit with hanger unit for longer items and an open storage area above it going right up to the wall. Shelf unit with 6 adjustable shelves.

The hanger sections are 16 inches deep as I made them the same as the width of a standard hanger. Hope that helps!
