Neighbor doing a renovation gave me a lot of 2 by 6 off cuts.  Used some of them for the top for this desk for my stepdaughter for her to use for  drawing and painting and hopefully some homework!!

Had some poplar legs I bought a couple of years ago for $1.50 each I never used. Those and a 1 by 4 for the side and back top rails. Total cost about $10 to $12
